The one-shoulder dress was already headed for the big-time for Fall 2009. Then Michelle Obama wore her white one shoulder Jason Wu gown to the inaugural ball. Come Spring 2010, the shoulders will get even more attention.
Designers at Spring 2010 Fashion Week are showing not just one-shoulder dresses; but asymmetrical dresses; dresses with two different sets of shoulder straps and dresses with embellishment on the shoulders.
There will be no hiding. Our advice Head to the gym now to start the overhead presses.
Generally, the one-shoulder look works best the way most sleeveless looks work, on those with toned arms. Women with any sized bustline can wear one-shoulders, but beware which kind look best on you Busty girls, something structured, please. Those with flatter chests look great in drapey jersey.
Either way, the look is less worrisome than a strapless one. It’s a trend we’ll be glad to shoulder.

Tips of Dressing for A Job Interview

Considering the following tips when you are deciding what to wear for a job interview.
1. Women should wear conservative business suits for job interviews. Either pantsuits or skirts and jackets are acceptable. Women’s suits should be black, grey, or blue. Blouses should be white or another muted color.
2. Both your suit and blouse should be ironed and free from stains.
3. For a job interview, women’s jewelry should be subtle. One ring per hand, a watch, necklace, and small earrings is appropriate. If possible, visible body piercings should not be worn to a job interview.
4. Women’s fingernails should be neatly trimmed for a job interview. Nail polish should be applied neatly and be a subtle color.
5. Women’s shoes should have heels no higher than two inches and should be black, brown, or a muted color. Panty hose should be dark or nude-colored and free from picks and runs.
6. As a woman, if you choose to wear perfume and make-up to a job interview, it should be applied sparingly.
7. Men should wear traditional business clothing for job interviews. This includes a navy blue, grey, or black suit, a long-sleeved dress shirt, and a tie.
8. For job interviews, men should avoid ties with bright colors, flashy patterns, cartoon characters, or seasonal themes.
9. Men should limit their jewelry to a watch and one ring per hand. If possible, earrings and visible body piercings should not be worn to a job interview.
10. For a job interview, men should wear leather dress shoes in black or brown and make sure they are clean and polished. Socks should be the same color as the suit.
11. Men’s hair should be combed and clean for a job interview. Beards, mustaches, and fingernails should also be trimmed and neat.
